Members: how member records work

Modified on Sun, Oct 11 at 2:53 PM

Members are the people who train at your school. Each member has a record in Keppan that holds their contact details, membership, attendance, payment history, and notes.

What you do here

  1. Add a new member, by hand or by importing a list from your previous system or a spreadsheet.
  2. Keep contact details, emergency contacts, and waivers up to date.
  3. See a member's attendance and payment history in one place.
  4. Mark a member as active, on hold, or cancelled so your counts and reports stay accurate.
  5. Link a parent to their kids' records so one person manages and pays for several students.

Good habits

Keep one record per person. If you find two records for the same student, merge them so no history is lost.
